Anatoly Ivakin was born in USSR in 1950.
In 1974 he graduated from the Institute of Architecture and was invited to stay there as an assistant at the Department of Fundamentals of Architectural Design.
Since 1975 he has designed various civil facilities for construction in multiple cities and countries.
From 2008 to the present, he has been painting, preferring architectural landscapes in the open air.
In 2015 he moved permanently to Belgrade, where he annually participates in numerous Plein-air trips and exhibitions around Serbia.
